Oh, hi there! I am Ally, coffee enthusiast, writer, and fragrance guru. When I am not blaring music in my candle shop slinging wax left and right, I enjoy writing, drinking coffee, and working at my family's local business (LIE ALERT: I drink coffee the whole time lol)!
I have always enjoyed finding unorthodox ways to manifest my creativity, and, as of last year, God opened this avenue. I have been making candles for one year now and I could not be more thankful for the lessons I have learned! My favorite part of what I do is developing the scents and the best feeling is seeing your reaction. It isn't a philanthropy statement, it is just true. Sometimes my customers hate my scents and send me back to the drawing board and that is ok. My goal is to learn and create the best product possible, not stun people with an instant formula of perfection.
As the daughter of two entrepreneurs, I understand the sacrifice it takes to offer good service and an outstanding product. After homeschooling for nine years, I graduated in May of 2023 and began the journey of enterpernuership. It has not all been an easy but, thanks to amazing family and friends, it has not been an endeavor done alone. My parents have stood up countless times to offer advice, my brother (and honorary brothers) get pretty much 100% credit for the brawn, and my friends are always a coffee run away. Mandles was an idea from one of the bros. The scent names came from Dad. And my Pride and Prejudice branch of the LIT Collection is the result of lots of movie nights with mom.
